Results and plans for nuclear spectroscopy of superheavy nuclei: the Lund perspective

Abstract A survey of nuclear structure results obtained along $$\alpha $$ α -decay chains stemming from isotopes element 114, Fl, and 115, Mc, is presented. Measures taken to ensure a reliable hand-over spectroscopy output theory are outlined. Possible links between decay starting 117, Ts, commented on. The experiments were conducted with the TASISpec set-up placed in focal plane TASCA separator at GSI Helmholtzzentrum für Schwerionenforschung GmbH Darmstadt, Germany. Plans improve decay-spectroscopy towards future superheavy endeavours described.
